The Birgu Local Council is organising a painting competition themed : "The City of Birgu, the Bastions and the Surrounding sea" / " Il-Belt tal-Birgu, s-Swar u l-Bahar li jdawwaraha". 

Children and adolescents between the ages of 8 and 21 may participate and submitt their paintings. All the submitted paintings will be exhibited during this year's Birgufest 2013. The best 3 paintings will be awarded a prize each, paintings being judged by three expert Maltese artists.

Those interested should contact the local council to leave their details by not later than Saturday 17th August 2013 at 12pm (noon). One may contact the local council by calling on 2166 2166 or by sending an e-mail to birgu.lc@gov.mt in order to be given the rules and regulations, as well as some guidelines for the competition.
