Four days of workshops and competitions in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop and Latin American/Ballroom. 

The main purpose of this Festival in Malta is to discover talents in the realm of dance, support creative initiatives and promote choreography in various dance genres.

The festival encourages cultural exchange and diversity.  It aims to bring together an international community of dancers, choreographers, performers, educators and dance students in a co-operative community, to perform and compete in a supportive atmosphere whilst  fostering creativity, knowledge and collaboration.  MIDCE inspires exploration of new ground in dance and provides opportunity to experience a wide spectrum of dance disciplines. Artists, students and professionals will share knowledge and stimulate their creativity through workshops, classes and performances.

Competition finalists will be taking part in a Final Gala Night at MCC, open to the general public.

Winners will be awarded cash prizes and scholarships.
