The Royal Moscow Theatre “The Crown of the Russian Ballet” proudly presents in Malta Tchaikovsky GALA BALLET, which is dedicated to the 175th Birthday Anniversary of the Great Russian composer Peter Illych Tchaikovsky.
The programme includes the world premiere of Emelianov’s new production of one of Tchaikovsky’s undoubted masterpieces, the one-act ballet “Manfred”. The narrative for this work of deep remorse and moral anguish comes from Lord Byron’s poem of the same name. The extracts from the Tchaikovsky’s best golden ballets: “Swan Lake”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Nutcracker”, “Romeo & Juliette”.
“The Crown of the Russian Ballet” is proudly presented by the Russian-Maltese Cultural Association, which specialises in sharing Russian culture with Maltese audiences with the purpose of widening cultural exchange and international dialogue.
