Come and welcome the newest little arrivals at Għadira! To celebrate the success of this year’s breeding birds they are giving you the rare opportunity to visit Għadira during the closed season.

You will get the chance to see Sardinian Warblers, Cetti’s Warblers, Little Ringed Plovers, Black-winged Stilts and all their little chicks! 

The morning offers you the chance to participate in a nature trail quiz, create crafts and also learn more about birds in a guided tour.

Summer is also a great time for spotting wildlife. Dragonflies feast on flying insects above the water and butterflies are also easily spotted. If you stay quiet rabbits can be seen and you can even try and spot a camouflaged chameleon hiding in the trees around the reserves trail!

With refreshments available and educational activities to enjoy, this is a great opportunity for the whole family to learn about and see Malta's amazing breeding birds.
