Through the EU Life+ Migrate Project, the local team will try to hold a public outreach at Golden Sands. 

The project aims to obtain more information about the population and conservation status of these species in waters around the Maltese Islands and to map potential sites of importance, if found present and propose them for designation as Natura 2000 sites.
