The underlying element in ‘D.O.K' is to create an all Maltese work – rooted in Maltese artistic legacy. ‘D.O.K' is an alliance between Maltese artists: conceived by Artistic Director and choreographer Dorian Mallia, (Moveo Dance Company) with the engagement of Soprano Miriam Cauchi, Musicians Simon Adbilla Joslin and Albert Garzia, who is also in charge of all the musical arrangements, together with Moveo dancers Diane Portelli,Elena Zammit, Jade Farrugia and Lucas Machado. Inspired by the quintessential Maltese music of Charles Camilleri.

D.O.K gives a joint interpretation between all the artists as equal partners- a harmonious experience where the expressions of dance, voice and music come together. This leads to a commitment to teamwork, exploration and inter-disciplinary practice.
