The Assosciation of Speech Language Pathologists are pleased to announce their first CPD event for 2018: 

" A guide to professional ethics and cyber safety for professionals " 
The organisers will kick start the year with two topics which they feel hold a lot of importance in everyone's daily and professional lives, Professional Ethics and Cyber Safety.   Regardless of the field of work one belongs to good ethics are a fundamental requirement of any profession, and safe and responsible use of Information and Communication Technologies and the awareness of the risks associated with ICT are high on any professionals list.

Speakers: Prof Rev Emmanuel & Inspector Timothy Zammit 
 
Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Agius is the Dean of the Faculty of Theology at the University of Malta where he is also professor of Moral Theology and Philosophical Ethics. He is the Head of the Department of Moral Theology at Faculty of Theology, since 2005 a member of the European Group of Ethics in Science and New Technologies (EGE) and a member of Pontifical Academy for Life. Prof. Agius is the author of three books and co-editor of five publications on future generations. Several of his articles on bioethical issues have appeared in a number of peer-reviewed international academic journals.
 
Inspector Timothy Zammit – Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime Unit, Malta Police Force.
