Din l-Art Helwa and the hard working team of volunteers of the Msida Bastion Garden led by Mary Aldred and Albert Calleja are once again holding the annual Spring Fete to raise funds to cover the upkeep of this historic site. Following last year’s successful event, various stalls will once again be put up and we have started collections of any goods you wish to donate. These include plants, books and magazines, unwanted bric-a-brac for our White Elephant Stall, confectionery and food preserves.

If you have any items which you would like to offer, you can drop them off at the garden, and for more information kindly contact Mary Aldred on 79067374 or Albert Muscat on 99438558. The garden is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and is found when you turn left off the Great Siege Road, Floriana, and then taking the first fork left past the Excelsior Hotel.

As each year our Fete keeps growing, we do need extra volunteers to manage the stalls. If you are willing to offer a helping hand, please contact the undersigned.
