Baby Massage Workshop for parents with babies and young children
Baby massage: Healing and creating a strong relationship
Massage is a lovely way for mothers and fathers to express their love and care for baby. 

Date: 24th of April 2013 from 10 am till 12pm
Place: William Shakespeare Suite at The Victoria Hotel, Gorg Borg Olivier Street, Sliema (free parking – lift to the conference room)

The workshop will be organised into two parts:
– The first part will be an introduction to Baby Massage and will answer these questions: What is baby massage? What are the benefits of baby massage? When is the best time to massage my baby? What do I need before I start a massage? How should I massage my baby?
– Coffee break kindly offered by The Victoria Hotel
– The second part will be practical. Armelle Azzopardi Debost, who is a Baby Massage Instructor, will show you concretely how to massage your baby. Your baby or young child is therefore more than welcome to this workshop if you want to make the most of this session. Please bring a little towel for the demonstration as you will practice on child.

Our partners will also be giving out free samples and vouchers.
Each parent will receive the following :

	Armelle Azzopardi Debost will be offering you a little bottle of organic baby oil so to you can start pacticing at home
	Shanti, the organic natural product shop in Mosta, will be giving out free samples of two organic baby products of the Weleda brand. You will receive a booklet with information on the Weleda organic baby range. A 5 euro voucher will so also be oferred to be used at Shanti for the purchase of any of the Weleda Baby Range.

Presentation of Armelle Azzopardi Debost, Baby Massage Instructor:
Armelle Azzopardi Debost is the proud mummy of 3 happy boys aging between 4 years and 4 months old. She has been working as a Qualified Infant Massage Instructor for these past 6 years and is a member of the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).
IAIM is the largest and most experienced infant massage organization in the world with a presence in more than 50 countries. Founder Vimala McClure’s work, dating back to the 1970s, is supported by current scientific and medical evidence. It has been proven that baby massage relaxes babies, decreases evening crying, facilitates better sleep, relieves stomach-ache and improves the bond between the parents and their baby.
The purpose of the IAIM is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.
Armelle Azzopardi Debost shares these values and believes that every baby deserves respect, tenderness, warmth and a listening heart. It is the reason why she created Hands To Heart in 2010. She works free-lance offering one-to-one or group lessons to the parents willing to learn how to massage their little ones.
