The Bandu tal-Imnarja, the forthcoming Mnarja equine races, which the town crier heralds is re-enacted by the Agrarian Society and the Malta Tourism Authority at Mdina, Rabat and Valletta on the last Saturday preceeding the 28th June.  A number of Palji to be awarded to the winners of the Equine races are paraded in the streets.
