Studio 18, in collaboration with Valletta 2018 and Å»iguÅ»ajg Festival, is seeking to recruit 6 young performers from age 13 to 17 to participate in a project which is to form part of the Valletta 2018 Cultural Programme.

 

The Studio is looking for young performance artists from all areas, be it actors, singers, musicians, dancers or musical theatre performers, to be a part of this new devised piece. The selected candidates will receive training in the lead up to the project, and will be given the opportunity to work with national and international creatives.

 

 

 

The team will partake in weekly sessions on Tuesday evenings as of September 2017. The process will culminate in a devised piece set to premiere during the 8th edition of ŻiguŻajg Festival in November 2018.

Interested participants are to submit an application form found here, and to prepare the following material:

 

For the audition, candidates will be requested to present a short performance lasting not more than 3 minutes that combines any of their performing talents – monologue/ stand-up comedy /storytelling /song/dance.
