The elves at Malta International Airport are busy turning their food court into a lodge for Santa, and you’re invited to drop in once they’re done! Santa’s living room, workshop, and kitchen will be bustling with festive activities, all of which are FREE, between the 22nd of December and the 2nd of January (Christmas and New Year’s Day excluded). Besides Christmas-themed crafts, children can also enjoy free magic shows and Christmas movies in their temporary cinema. And if your little ones have Christmas wishes, Santa’ll be all ears to hear what they have to say!
If you visit the airport during the above-indicated times, do look out for Santa’s elves. They’ll be distributing wishlists, which can be filled out as follows:
1. Visit M.I.A.'s shops at landside;
2. Pick your favourite 3 items from the shops (each one can cost up to a €100);
3. Put them on the wishlist;
4. Post the wishlist in Santa’s postbox on Level -1.
The postbox will be opened after the 2nd of January. One wishlist will be picked in a random draw, with the person who would have made the list getting all three items on it!
Remember that eating at the airport’s food court entitles you to free parking at the airport’s car park*. Most restaurants at the food court offer a kids’ menu, making this spot ideal for a tasty bite before or after the activities.
