Third tour in a series of Cultural Tours organized by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts will be in the North of Malta, on Sunday 27 January 2013. This visit will experience the Roman ruins, the hives, the shooting and Punic tombs and prehistoric tombs in Xemxija. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit with professional guides the Wignacourt tower with out detailed explanation on the same tower and what it was used for.. These monthly Cultural Tours are organized by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts and are now part of the calendar of activities that many are waiting each year to enhance their knowledge aboutMaltese Heritage.   Departure for the visit is from near a major hotel in Floriana at 8:45 am and the ticket price is € 12 for adults and € 10 for seniors and children. The booking closes at noon on Wednesday 23 January 2013 or earlier if  all the places are filled. The booking office is 230 Republic Street in Valletta (just down from St George) and is open from Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 3.30pm.
