Meeting Point: Marsalforn Police Station at 5.45 pm
The walk will start from Marsalforn in the direction of Żebbuġ through the road alongside Wied l-Infern. The walk will lead down into the actual valley floor, walking for a very long stretch until participants 'surface' again onto the asphalted road. They will walk uphill to the Zebbug cemetery and from there participants will take a steep shortcut to the Sellum area of Żebbuġ, from where they will enjoy a panoramic view of the Western side of Gozo where hopefully they will see the sunset. The walk will continue to the centre of Żebbuġ where it will stop for a couple of hours for a delicious pizza.
After this relaxing stop, participants will start walking in the dark to the other tip of Żebbuġ and down to Xwejni. On the way down to Xwejni participants will use their torchlights and hope it will turn out to be an unusual event for the members of Malta Geographical Society. Then the walk will continue to the starting point in Marsalforn.
