Action Planet is a nationwide project that unites people from all walks of life to look at how their daily lifestyle choices are impacting Malta and the world. Action Planet brings together schools, outreach organisations, the University of Malta, MCAST, NGOs, organisations, artists and government ministries in one project.

 

BirdLife Malta will be contributing with a workshop entitled 'Family Home Wildlife Gardens with Birdlife' on Sunday 4th March between 11am and 1pm at Valletta's Spazju Kreattiv, Saint James Cavalier (Studio A, ground floor). They will be looking to identify common Maltese plants with an interactive plant ID game and they will also learn about the food chain to which they belong. Then they will show you how to look after and grow these plants in your own home, creating minibeast homes and birdbaths.

Participation is open to families and children of all ages.

Materials to be brought from home: Bring pots to plant, gardening gloves if you don’t want to get your hands dirty, and notebook and pen so you remember how to look after the plants. So join their at our family workshop to learn how to grow your own wildlife garden!
