An Eden Leisure initiative to Fight Child Obesity

 

Due to its great success of the past years, the Eden SuperBowl will once again be launching Free Summer Bowling, a programme that gives all children aged 5 to 16 two free games of bowling every day throughout the summer. There are no strings attached – children can use their free games between Monday and Friday throughout their holidays, starting from the 3rd July. Parents simply need to sign up their kids to the Free Summer Bowling club on the Eden SuperBowl website and they’ll begin receiving their bowling vouchers weekly.

 

Statistics continue to prove the seriousness of childhood obesity and therefore it is crucial that a long term solution is found for this long term problem. The Free Summer Bowling Club is the Eden Leisure Group’s way of contributing to this, by encouraging children to keep active. It is also important to show kids that exercise can be as fun and sociable. By providing the Maltese with such an opportunity, Eden Leisure hope to continue raising awareness as well as provide support to those who find themselves battling issues related to obesity.
