Heritage Malta's young members are invited to dig for animal bones in specially prepared sand pits at Għar Dalam.

Younger participants will be given a sheet with a line drawing of an animal skeleton and will match the bones they find to to the skeleton drawing. Older children will learn how to document their excavation, taking measurements and drawing a grid to chart where the bones were found. The event will also include a visit to the cave with the curator and some refreshments.
Booking is essential as places are limited. Please contact education@heritagemalta.org and give your membership number on booking. Please wear sunblock and sunhats. Recommended age: 4-10 years.
HM Members are requested to book by 23rd June. Non-HM Members interested in this activity can send an email to education@heritagemalta.org and confirmation will be given on 24th June. HM Members: Free. Non-HM Members €5.
