A weekend of action packed activities are being held at Fort Rinella in Kalkara by Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna to commemorate the 100th anniversary from the landing of Gallipoli in World War One. The programme includes live historical re-enactments, film shows, guided tours, a reconstructed military trench complete with barbed wire entanglements, a military head-gear exhibition and the firing of the Armstrong 100-ton gun (Sunday).

Also for this occasion, FWA will be holding a dedicated hands-on lecture about WW1 Gas warfare & equipment; exhibit and fire the iconic WW1 Vickers 18-pdr British field gun and have a full infantry section kitted out in the 1902 British uniform, as used throughout WW1 on all fronts.
