Birdwatching and bird photography are beautiful hobbies where birds can be observed and photographed in their natural habitat without harming them. Birdwatching and bird photography can be practiced by everybody. A binocular and/or camera, a bird guide and a notebook are useful tools to carry for watching, photographing and recording birds. Birdwatching is an international hobby, practiced by many people worldwide, and several organisations carry out birdwatching activities. Il-Majjistral is a beautiful area for birds and birdwatching, it's open habitat and the coastal areas attracting several species of birds.
Join the organisation for an informal illustrated talk about bird migration followed by a guided walk by the Parks expert birdwatcher Alex Casha.
