All participants to meet at the Msida Bastions Historic Gardens (MBHG) where parking is readily available on a Saturday morning.

It is advisable that participants bring along a bottle of water with them.

 

Ian Camilleri a volunteer with DLH is coordinating the opening and closing of sites with the warden / project leader who will also give a brief account of the main features of the site. 

This event will be a heritage trail where the participants will visit Sarria church featuring the restored Mattia Preti paintings, the Maglio Gardens Mall in Floriana featuring the nine (9) monuments restored in 2005 and Our Lady of Victory Church and Museum, featuring the restoration carried out to date including the vaulted ceiling with its Erardi paintings.

A donation of €10 paid in advance to secure booking.

Bookings will be on a first come first served basis.

The participants will walk from MBHG to Sarria Church where The Executive President Maria Grazia Cassar will give a brief account of the paintings restored to date. 

The participants will then head to OLV church via the Maglio Gardens Mall.

At OLV, the warden will give a brief account of the restoration work completed.
