Heritage Malta is offering you the opportunity to explore Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park in the evening with a sunset heritage tour on Friday June 16.
The event will include a tour of the two unique prehistoric sites of Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park, as well as the surrounding Mediterranean garigue landscape with its many historic features, including the Misqa reservoirs, Congreve memorial and nearby Ħamrija tower. Curators and other experts will be on site to discuss the archaeological remains and highlight the natural features surrounding the temples. This event will offer you a rare opportunity to explore and understand these sites in greater detail.
At the end of the tour, refreshments will be served at the Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra visitor center.
Participants should meet a Heritage Malta representative at the Ħaġar Qim parking lot at 6pm.
