Maintaining a unique culinary  tradition:  Qassatat tal- Għid

DSC_4146 2Everybody has heard, tasted and feasted on the traditional qassatat one time or another, but this special qassatat recipe is unfortunately soon being forgotten and the only village in Malta and Gozo where Qassatat tal-Għid are still cooked is in fact in Xagħra, Gozo.  After an overview to help understand and appreciate the tradition behind this culinary tradition, the participants will have the opportunity to cook their own Qassata.

Ta’ Kola Windmill in Xaghra, Gozo. For ages 10 to 14 years. Maximum number of participants is 15.
