The society leader walks inland away from the bay towards a chapel with a hermit’s cave nearby. The ramblers make their way to the top of Bajda Ridge and walk amongst the thousands of young trees with distant views towards Pwales Valley and the church of Manikata village.
The way back is a straight path with occasional views across Mistra valley. Towards the end of the walk you will pass some of Malta’s oldest tombs which date back nearly 4000 BC. From here the walkers make their way downwards to where the cars are parked.
This event is recommended for children aged ten and over, accompanied by an adult.
