Meeting point :Phoencia Hotel, Floriana. Meeting time: 1.30 p.m. Transport leaves at 2.00p.m.

BUSKETT WINERY to TAL-VIRTU – The walk commences into Buskett towards the sheltered parking area (It-Tinda) and meanders to the back of Verdala Castle via one of two alternative routes.

The ramblers then follow the surfaced road in the direction of Zebbug as far as the quaint chapel of San Blas where they can enjoy a short break.

At the crossroads the walk turns left towards Rabat but after a few hundred meters it turns left again and starts the gradual climb towards Tal-Virtu.

Just before reaching the chapel perimeter wall, the walk leaves the surfaced road and circumnavigates the chapel grounds in an anti-clockwise direction all the way to the metal barrier where it emerges onto the surfaced road that goes past the seminary and the awaiting coaches. 

Children below 16 years participating in organized walks must be accompanied by an adult.A nominal donation is payable for expenses.
