BINGEMMA AREA

The Malta Geographical Society are organising these walks in the Bingemma area on Wednesday 3rd October and Saturday 27th October.

The route is scheduled as follows:-

The group will meet in the centre of the hamlet, downhill from the chapel.

After walking along minor roads and narrow tracks surrounded by cultivated fields the group will follow a footpath that goes along the bottom of the Victoria Lines with beautiful views all the way round from Ras Il-Pellegrin, Gnejna Bay, Gozo  all the way to Maghtab.

At the first opportunity the group will cross these lines of defense and walk back along the top towards Bingemma gap. If time permits the group will also have a quick look at the cart ruts and the cave under the chapel.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
