The walk starts by going through the little picturesque hamlet of Mtahleb where about 30 people still live in unusual dwellings overlooking the Mtahleb basin.Meeting time is 3.30 pm. Cars will be parked near the ex-Mtahleb school (now the Substance Abuse Therapeutic Unit) in the vicinity of Mtahleb church. With views right across to the sea the walk will proceed to the valley floor of Wied Migra Ferha where the group will be surrounded by bamboo. Going uphill the group will walk between conical hills towards the sea but before we reach the cliffs we turn inland and make our way to a large reservoir where a break can be taken overlooking a lovely green valley. The group will then start the long climb back to the top where we eventually come to the Mtahleb church. Stopping here to regain breath one can have time to adore the panoramic views across the valleys towards Migra Ferha.
