at Safi Parish Church – Triq Santa Marija, Safi from 15 to 29 March

Experience the peaceful and timeless atmosphere of village life in Mqabba, Kirkop, and Safi while walking along the narrow, winding streets and open piazzas.

Learn how the local specialities like ricotta, cheeselets and honey are made, and taste them. 

Visit the quarry, the catacombs, and learn about the important role of the local band club. 

Walk through the village, enjoy the natural beauty of the unspoilt Mediterranean landscape with the huge prickly pear cactus sprawling along the typical rubble walls, the colourful Bougainvilla, the white, pink, and purple Azaleas, while smelling the scent of fig and rosemary. Wander around the village, and notice some striking details, like the wrought-iron balconies, the rich baroque decor of the churches, as well as the numerous niches along the village, where the stone statues of saints still stand. 

Enhance the tour, indulge in typical Maltese delicacies while socialising with the local residents.
