Circular Walk. No transport provided. Meeting time: 2.15pm. Walk starts at 2.30 pm

Meeting Point: To get to the starting point of the walk take the road under the runway at the airport to the next roundabout, turn right and then follow the signs for Qrendi. Once on the Qrendi by-pass keep on to the very end where you find the chapel of St. Matthew’s and Il-Maqluba.

They start their walk by taking the road to Hagar Qim, passing the only 2-faced sundial in the Maltese islands. Immediately after crossing the Zurrieq to Ghar-Lapsi road they walk down a track along Wied Hoxt. Enjoying lovely sea views towards Filfla, they pass Hamrija Tower and the Congreve memorial (the Governor of Malta, Sir Walter Norris Congreve, was buried at sea between here and Filfla). After a short break they pass below Mnajdra and if they have time they will take a quick look at the Misqa tanks. They walk round the outside of Hagar Qim and return to the cars.
