Model Making of a Traditional Maltese Boat – Luzzu
A walk through one of our fishing villages will surely be a spectacle of colours thanks to the Luzzu, the traditional Maltese boat. The purpose and significance of its shape and the characteristic paint colours which are used to and which give an extra dose of spectacle to the marine environment will be explained through a hands-on activity of three hours. The activity includes the making of a Luzzu model to scale, using cardboard. At the end of the session the participants will be given an attendance certificate.
At the Folklore Museum, Citadel, Gozo. For ages 10 to 14 years. Maximum number of participants is 15.
