The Foundation for Social Welfare Services will be organising information sessions in the coming weeks entitled Modern Parenting which will help parents understand their children and build a healthy relationship for a happy family.

Modern Parenting
is made up of information sessions for parents of children up to ten years and another set of sessions for parents of adolescents. These sessions will present and encourage discussions about different phases of the children’s social and psychological development, effective communication within the family, sexuality and what lead to the abuse and the eventual addiction of substances and technology.

Sessions f
or parents of children up to 10 years old will start on Tuesday 21st October at 5:45pm and on Thursday 23rd October at 9:15am. For parents of adolescents, sessions will start on Monday 20th October at 5:45pm. All sessions will be held at St Joseph’s Home, St Joseph’s High Road, Santa Venera. All sessions will be held in the Maltese Language.

During these sessions related educational material will be distributed. Child-minding facilities will be available upon request.

A contribution of €12 per person applies.  Cheques are to be made payable to AÄ¡enzija Sedqa and sent by post together with the application.​
