Children to sail for 48 hours to raise money for Noah's Ark Sanctuary

Children are expected to take part in a 48-hour non-stop sailing marathon, putting their stamina to the test for a worthy cause.

The event, which is being organised by the Vikings Sailing Club for the Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary, is scheduled to kick off at 6pm on Friday 24th August and ends the following Sunday at 6pm in Marsamxett.

The public is invited to show their support for the children's project by visiting the Vikings Sailing Club premises at Haywharf, Floriana over the weekend.

Families, individuals and visiting children will also have the opportunity to take a ride on one of several club sailing dinghies being made available, against a donation for the cause.
