To celebrate the feast of St. Francis, The Island Sanctuary will be holding its annual Open Day on Sunday 7th October 2012.

Doors will open at 9.30am and visitors will be able to go around the premises. Volunteers will be happy to provide information about the sanctuary to those who are interested.

During this event there will also be a book sale, jumble sale, facepainting, dog grooming, pet items, souvenirs and food and drinks.

At 4.00pm the activities will end, and a Mass will be held at 4.30pm.

All those who attend the Mass are invited to bring their pets along.

After Mass all the pets will be blessed and a token will be given to each family attending.
