The Production and use of Orange Blossom Water

Inquisitor's PalaceHave you ever heard your grandparents or even parents mention Orange Blossom Water (Ilma Zahar)? If yes, how would you like to discover how it is made? This activity will take the participants in a scientific ambience, where by means of the Lampik apparatus, they will go through the distillation process and the production of Orange Blossom Water. This is not all: afterwards participants will have the opportunity to prepare the traditional Kwareżimal, a traditional culinary delight which has Orange Blossom Water as one of its essential ingredients.

At the National Museum of Ethnography – Inquisitor’s Palace (Vittoriosa). For ages 10 to 14 years. Maximum number of participants is 21.
