Through the EU Life+ Migrate Project, the local team will hold a public speech about species of cetaceans (dolphins, whales & porpoises) and marine turtles that are present in the Mediterranean Sea.

The project aims to obtain more information about the population and conservation status of these species in waters around the Maltese Islands and to map potential sites of importance, if found present and propose them for designation as Natura 2000 sites.
