Mission

To run a yearly science and art festival in Malta. To bring science to everyone in a fun, entertaining and creative way. To provide a yearly focus for creatives and scientists to collaborate on projects. To encourage the next generation of scientists and artists. To show how science and art can benefit each other.

Description
Science in the City, Malta's science and art festival, is back again on the 27th September from 6.00pm onwards. Valletta will be filled with art and entertainment all linked to science: street art installations, graffiti art, music concerts, art exhibitions, children’s shows, live experiments, talks, tech areas, and much more — a memorable night which is fun, interactive and free.

The activities will take place in Valletta, running from the Upper Barrakka and St. James Cavalier, down both Merchant Street and Republic Street till St. George’s Square (Palace Square) and the Old Market.

For more information and a full programme checkout our website (www.scienceinthecity.org.mt) — to be updated soon. Bars, restaurants and cafes throughout Valletta will be open on the night.

The main sponsors of the event are the EU FP7 Programme called Researchers' Night and the Malta Arts Fund.
