A typical visit to Esplora Interactive Science Centre can be quite challenging for those who feel overwhelmed with loud sounds and bright lights.
That is why, Esplora created the Sensory Friendly Hours, during which they adjust the ambiance inside Esplora to allow neurodiverse children and adults to explore the science centre and fully enjoy everything that they have to offer in a peaceful atmosphere. Their team are trained and will always be on hand to support parents and caregivers if ever needed.
During the visit, you can participate in one of the Workshops or Science shows that have been specifically adapted for Sensory Friendly Hours. You can also enjoy the Planetarium and Universe experience if you would like!
The next Sensory Friendly Hours will be held on Sunday 19th June between 9am and 1pm.
