Heritage Malta is organising a special event to mark World Heritage Day that is celebrated throughout the world to raise awareness of World Heritage sites.
A Sunset Tour of ĦaÄ¡ar Qim & Mnajdra Archaeological Park will be held this Saturday the 21st of April at 1700hrs. The tour will also include informative visits to the Misqa Tanks, the Congreve Memorial, and the nearby Ħamrija Tower. At the end of the tour a lecture on the site’s prehistory will be held at the Hagar Qim Park’s visitor centre. Curators and experts within the field will be discussing the archaeological remains, surrounding landscape, and natural features of this site.
Tickets for this event are priced at €7 for adults, while HM members, students, and senior citizens pay only €5. Children under the age of 12 enter for free.
