Il-Majjistral Park together with the Malta Command – WW2 Living History Group are organising a special morning dedicated to reliving the historical past when the area of the park was used as a British military base.

Programme:
Presentation by Denis Darmanin about the history of the area as a military base by the British.
This will be followed by a short talk by Colin Micallef about the uniforms and equipment that was used by the KOMR during WW2 and also by the Royal Marines in the post war years.
After that there will be a re-enactment of a military drill display and a further display of some weapons that were used at that time.
The organisers will then proceed with an easy walk in the park to identify some of the relics from that period.
