Calling all parents! BirdLife Malta are offering the opportunity for young people aged 9-12 years old to experience what it is like to be a warden at a nature reserve.

Taking place on Saturday 13th September, your child has the opportunity to work alongside their expert wardens, taking part in conservation work at our Għadira Nature Reserve. They will get involved with clearing vegetation, potting seedlings, taking measurements of environmental conditions, and recording plants and animals seen throughout the morning.

The activity will also include snacks and a reward for participation. Sturdy shoes and suitable clothing necessary. This activity is a unique opportunity and is ideal for any nature-loving children, who enjoy spending time outdoors and being active!

Booking is essential – To make a booking, please contact the BirdLife Malta office on events@birdlifemalta.org. Cost is €10.

Please note, parents are welcome to attend and wait in the visitors centre during the event, or to drop their child off and pick them up afterwards.
