When should food be introduced? Is there a preference to which food groups should be introduced first? How often should I feed, and what is a healthy age-appropriate portion?
These and more are questions that parents, guardians or carers ask as the stage of introducing food to the children they care for is near. This Seminar aims at answering these and more questions, and provides practical ways of preparing, introducing and storing food, together with the parental/guardian skills required during such a process.
It is specifically designed for parents, carers and guardians of infants approaching initial introduction of food, or those who during the weaning process are struggling or feel confused with the many different messages they are being provided with.
All information delivered is based on updated latest scientific research within Paediatric Nutrition, and notes will be provided.
