Xandriku Fest – NgÄ§ixu Xandriku fl-ImgÄ§oddi, will take place in Xandriku Street, Nadur, on September 13, from 7p.m. onwards.
Visitors to the event will embark on a journey through the years,reliving this street's rich history.
A main event will be a street barbeque which will have a French setting in order to remind participants of the years Malta was under the French rule and the presence of Napolean on the island.
The rest of the street will feature more recent history with exhibitions and military vehicles on show.
During the event, the Kelinu Grima Maritime Museum will be open to the publice free of charge. There will also be a number of maskarati (carnival costumes) from the Nadur spontaneous carnival on display.
